"Don't Settle" - Steve Jobs on Work

By

A friend of mine posted the following quote on Facebook after the news of Steve Job's death became public:
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.”
– Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs rest in peace

It reminded me of how lucky I truly am to have found not just one, but two jobs in my lifetime that I love and find truly satisfying. One of these is real estate & the other is being a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.

I look forward to the time when I go back to work in real estate full-time, but I am also enjoying every day I have here at home with my precious son who is growing up so fast.
