The chandelier in the Grand Ballroom of the Vinoy Renaissance resort in St. Petersburg, Florida was not only stunningly beautiful, it also reminded me of something I’d seen before - right here in Indianapolis. The centerpiece sculpture of the Indianapolis Museum for Children! Both pieces are by American glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, and both are extraordinary!
Circling the ramp around the glass tower in the Indianapolis Children's Museum and looking down at the intricate artwork (be sure to check out the floor underneath!) is worth the price of admission by itself. It will also will leave you wondering - how do they clean that thing?
