What a great idea!  I love ice cream - if I was there, I'd come and donate - maybe I'd even be the reason they ran out of ice cream!

What a fabulous idea....get all the new people ready for next year's favorites, and all for a good cause.  Doesn't everybody scream for ice cream?

Hi Kat - I plan to go and support the cause, right after desk duty tomorrow morning. I wrote a blog about the season opening for this summer. That was the link on the name. Lago's Ice Cream is really the Best Ice Cream on the Seacoast! Hope you have a great Holiday weekend!

Hi Melissa - You are right...everybody screams for ice cream. I'll mail you a cone ;-)  Thanks for stopping by!

Hi John, I'm with Kat..I'd be there for sure ...they have some rocky road????  This is a really great thing for Lago's Icecream to do. It makes you proud to be part of a community that does things like this. I hope they raise LOTS of money!

Hi Cindy - This is a terrific thing for Lago's to do. I hope they raise a ton on money too. Steve Grenier is a good friend of mine. When I had my little restaurant, he was there for me to help us all along the way. Please enjoy your Holiday weekend too.

John, this is a wonderful cause. I would bring my whole family if I lived in your area. Lago's Ice Cream must be a gem among businesses in your area. I hope you'd had a chance to participate in this event.

Hi Elizabeth - Great to see you! I'm sure everyone here has missed you! It is my opinion that Lago's makes the best ice cream on the Seacoast and they have a huge group of loyal patrons. Yes, we visited yesterday and the parking lot was mobbed with lines at the windows. So great to see this kind of turnout. Steve Grenier posted on fb that a total of $3,000 was collected for the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The WINNER of Scotty Lago's autographed Flow Quantam snowboard was announced as Peter Philbrook. So glad there are people willing to give their time, energy and Ice Cream for great causes like this. BTW, the pistacio was the best I have ever had! I'm going to post a few photos here later today. Hope your holiday weekend is the best!

Sounds like fun...I live just down the street and never did make it there.  I'll have to wait until next year!

Oh Sharon - I know. Its sometimes so hard to find the time to do things that would really bring us pleasure. I am soooo guilty of this. Steve Grenier, manager of Lagos, is a friend from long ago who helped us with our restaurant by being there and patronizing us. I have been flogging Lagos on facebook and blogs all this year. I am so proud to know Steve and thrilled to see him raising money for such a worthy cause! Hope you week is going well!

Hi Toni - Chris, her sister Barbara and I surely did attend and enjoyed "the best ice cream on the Seacoast." (This is a good Google search term. Try it and see what comes up). It was our pleasure to help Steve with his mission to support The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Hope you have a great weekend!
