One of my favorite agents does a ton of work for her sellers and it is helping her business. She helps de-clutter and stage with her own furniture. She puts out flowers in and outside of the home and cleans the houses that she has listed on a regular basis. She even cuts the grass for some of them that are not able. This helps her get noticed with the neighbors and that helps her get more listings too.
Like many of you, this realtor told me that she wants to work hard for her sellers and earn her commission. The better her listings look, the quicker they'll sell and this is working for her and her sellers.
Not only are her listings selling, but she is getting a strong reputation in the city for being a great listing agent. Beyond the obvious, she feels better about her service to her sellers and this gives her a lot to update the sellers on that keeps them happy with her service for them.
I am sure that these sellers are talking very highly about "their real estate agent" to their family, friends and neighbors and that keeps those future referrals coming in for years to come.
Lastly, by spending more time at your listings, you are going to see more of the neighbors and run into more prospective buyers and others are going to see you there too, all helping your business.
What are you doing out of the ordinary for your sellers?
