Beach Chairs ~ Set to rest for the winter ~ IOP, SC

IOP chairs

My favorite time to walk the beach (Isle of Palms) is the month of October and November.  It is still warm and sunny.  There is still always a great breeze that pushes you back after you've walked or ran against it.  But these two months offer something wonderful... a quiet beach with lots of room!  Less people, less dogs, less sand castle holes you have to watch out for, etc... I guess it sounds a bit rude of me.  But there is something wonderful with having so much of the beach to myself!  I caught a glimpse of these chairs stacked up for the winter today on my walk and had to stop and take a picture.  Everything has a season and a reason.  Sometimes it is time to rest.

Just returned from Myrtle Beach Laura and could not agree more.  Such peace and harmony walking along the sandy shores with your toes in the sand minus the populated beaches!  Have to say the main street arteries were packed with automobile traffic and the the leaves have yet to change color!

Made our drive from sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida through Savannah and Charleston as well.  The charm and history filled our minds with the glory of the freedom we enjoy living in this great nation and the absolute need to preserve our heritage!

Rest well my friend

Laura,  Send the beach to Denver, that I could get the same feeling you have.  Sounds peaceful!

Laura.  I woke up to snow this monring.  I would take stacked up beach chairs without snow anyday.  Perhaps I need a good South Carolina realtor so I can move to a place without snow.

Laura I totally get this. I used to live close to Vail Co and the off season was so peaceful and quiet - and come to think of it it's kind of that way in Phoenix as well.  We know snowbirds are on their way right now....and we look foward to their arrival.

Laura, I believe this sounds better than a bustling beach full of sun worshippers, dogs, kids and castles!    Time to clear you head with open spaces.
