In driving to a listing appointment in Rye the other day, I found myself just 5 feet away from this baby deer! Rye also abounds with wild turkeys, and more! Westchester is GREAT!

Gay, how lucky you had a camera handy. What a great shot and what a beautiful deer. Thank you for sharing and have a great Sunday.
I was driving around on Friday and saw several groups of deer but they all scattered so I couldn't have gotten a photo like this. Nice shot!
The deer here in Florida are smaller, but just as beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your day!
Hi Bryan: I was like a little child- arriving at my appointment 5 mins late... but I had an excuse!
Hi Wayne... the owner also conceded they haev coyote too....welcome to Westchester!
Oh, how cute. I love deer. I was up close to one a couple of weeks ago in Ardsley at a customer's home when I got out of the car. They are so beautiful.
Great picture, seeing that up close must have been neat, I know it would have made my day, thanks for sharing this with us!
Those are really neat neighbors to have, Gay! I live really near the 22 mile long greenbelt area known as the American River Parkway. We have herds of deer that populate the area, and I love seeing them, when I'm out hiking.
Awwwwwww, so cute. I love deer, but wish they would stay out of my rose garden.
I was driving up my road and a deer was eating on the side of the road. I slowed to a crawl so it wouldn't jump out at the car... It just looked at me... I rolled down my window and I could have pet it... funny...
Monday is my Happiness Day.
I visit as many blog posts as I can throughout the day
and spread happiness, which means I probably didn’t read this post.
I just stopped by to spread some happiness.

Hi Debbie: I had to back up and take the pic... could not believe how docile it was... LOL G
Hi MYrl: I felt so sorry for the deer - in such a human populated area... so desparate..
Hi Tammy: I understand they eat it all..... everything is a rose to them...
Chris- you WANT to... I wanted to... but I felt the same as you.. why disturb it... I hope it found its way home!
If I recall correctly the town of Rye has 8 golf courses, lots of land for deer.
