The recently opened Neuse River Greenway trail in North Raleigh is the perfect place to launch your kayak or take a long stroll (for miles if you like!), or bike ride with the family. This trail starts at the Falls Lake Reservoir and follows the Neuse River. The Neuse River begins in Durham where the Flat and Eno Rivers come together and travels over 240 miles through Raleigh and eventually to New Bern before it enters the Pamlico Sound. 
There are many wonderful neighborhoods in North Raleigh that are just minutes away from this greenway trail.
