Oh What A Difference A Little Bling Makes. Part 2- Bedrooms, Selling By Design-Staging, Fresno CA.

Home Stager with Selling By Design-Staging

Last week I posted pictures of a home that was staged by Selling By Design-Staging in which we used the owner's furniture and our accessories. This time I am showing the three bedrooms before and after staging.

The master bedroom had only a large dresser and a painting.

To save both time and money we opted to use the picture as a headboard. One of the colors in the painting matched the bedding beautifully. The owner had the lamp and table in another room so we made use of it in the large bedroom space. Ideally two matching nightstands and lamps would flank the bed so we had to be creative.

One of the guest rooms before staging.

Same bed, rotated and accessorized. The lamp and table were the owner's re-purposed  from another room.

Another bedroom before staging.

We got another ottoman from a room used by the homeowner as an office. Putting the two together we staged them as a bed.

(oops, I know from this angle you can see the animal print ottoman) Note to self, change this.

Since the owner put us on a very tight budget we had to be extremely creative. It was fun to see how many ways you can use accessories to create atmosphere. Creativity is what home staging is all about.

Hi Linda--very creative ways to stage with a tight budget.  I love the look of the master bedroom from the hallway.

Thanks Mike. It is always good to hear from agents.

Hi Cathy. I was fortunate that the owner left some nice pieces. That's not always the case. Thanks for your input.

Thank you Valerie for your positive comments. I really did have to get creative on this one. Big house, had to stretch.

Thanks Janet. I like that shot also. Had to tweak the exposure and color on Picnik. It was fun.

You did such a great job staging. Very innovative to use the painting as a headboard. So often we have so little to work with while staging and it is great to see the many ideas people come up with.

Thanks for your comment Cathleen. I was so excited to find that the owners had left the painting. It created drama, without costing a thing.

Thanks Wendy. It was fun putting everything together. The stuff they left was luckily in good condition and  high quality.
