Did you know that Lake Anna is the second largest lake located in the state of Virginia?

1972 Dominion Power Company created Lake Anna.  They built a damn on the North Anna River which is now the east end of Lake Anna.  Flooding of the North Anna River and the Pamunkey Rivers to the west created Lake Anna.

Lake Anna stretches 17 miles in length  has a shoreline of approximately 250 miles and covers 13,000 acres. 

For you fisherman it has over 30 species of fish. 

Conveniently loacated centrally between 3 major cities. Fredericksburg to the northeast, Richmond to the southeast and Charlottesville to the southwest.

To the northwest is the historical town of Culpeper.
