Local wineries showcased their wines Saturday afternoon at the annual Celebration of Harvest at Rancho Sisquoc Winery east of Santa Maria.
Along with people savoring local vintages, the event organized by the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association includes local restaurants, caterers and specialty food purveyors showing off their talents as well as bands filling the air with music.
Proceeds from a silent auction of specialty wines and large-format bottles benefited People Helping People, a local nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter, food and social services in the Santa Ynez and Los Alamos valleys.
