New Neutrals

Education & Training

It's hard to think of neutrals when there are so many colourful leaves around us at this time of year.  But our walls should be calm and comfortable to allow those occasional pops of colour in art and decor to really stand out.  Just remember - neutral does NOT mean boring beige !

I studied Interior Design for 4 years, and as you shared beige is not the only neutral and for me, I was bored for years with white, but now there are so many shades of white that will make any room look clean and stand out with a great peace of art.  Love gray as a neutral against white, is like a good pair of linen pants in spring bringing you comfort, cleanness with elegance. thank you

Hi Sandi--this is a great article to get folks to think beyond white and beige.  I love the taupes and sages, but am not a huge fan of lilac.  However, it would look great in the right space.
