How to use Chinese Social Media to Market Luxury Real Estate

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with caimeiju.com
Last Week, Caimeiju had the honor of participating on a panel discussion about international real estate marketing at a retreat for Coldwell Banker Previews International. Among international markets, China was top priority.

At Caimeiju, we promote listings online for our real estate clients. One of the many ways we accomplish this is through Chinese Social Media. In China, Facebook is blocked, Twitter is blocked and so is Youtube. However, China has their own versions of social media.

To all of you visual learners out there, I took a screen shot of a property we posted to Soufun on October 7th. ( As I write this it is now October 11th) The property is a beautiful penthouse in LA for our client Joyce Rey of Beverly Hills. At the bottom of the graphic you can see this listing received 1166 visits in four days.

Soufun is one of China's largest real estate portals, but what is awesome is they allow users to set up their own blog promotion pages. The down side is that unless you can type in Chinese to create an account, you are out of luck.

Chinese Social Media Marketing services like this example on Soufun are one of the many services we provide our luxury real estate clients at Caimeiju. If you would like to market you special listing to China, please send me a note.

Good points Jennifer. Facebook, Twitter and Youtube is so widely used here that people do not realize they have to use different tools to market to Chinese market.
