Photo Fun: Why did the chewing gum cross the road?

Why did the chewing gum cross the road?

Why did the duck cross the road?

Because it was stuck to the duck’s foot!

Today I took the back road between Pearland and Friendswood because it’s a little faster than going out to the highway, and much more scenic. My short cut didn’t save any time, though, because these cute ducks were meandering down the road, making their way from one side to the other. I couldn’t resist taking their picture!

Hi, Rose -- loved the joke and the photo.  Where I live in the Souteastern suburbs of Phoenix, we still have the agricultural land, and some horse and dairy farms, etc.  It is a nice balance -- something very restful about the country.  In a world that is constantly changing, it is something that is timeless and that is nice.

have a great day, Eric

SUSSIE - There is hardly any traffic on that road, which is a good thing!

ERIC - It's nice to live in an area with a mix of rural and urban. Here in the Friendswood and Pearland areas south of Houston, we have the best of both worlds - like you do!

Rose, I love this photo. We live near the Sacramento River and we often have to stop for ducks and geese crossing the road. I always want to get out and get my camera so that I could grabs some shots....but I am afraid people would get mad at me....moving the camera to the front seat so that I can get the shot quickly....love it. Cute joke to go with a great photo! Love it!

Well, the "shortcut" gave you the opportunity to get all of your ducks in a row! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
