On the second Friday night of each month the streets of downtown Wake Forest come alive with food, merchants and music! Everyone is invited to come and experience the dining, art and retail merchants of downtown Wake Forest. Downtown businesses stay open until 9 p.m. You never know what treasure you may find!

Steeple Chase 5K

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
Steeple Chase 5K is on for Saturday, October 15, 2011 on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. This inaugural event, which is part of the continuing effort to encourage healthy habits for life and benefits international charities, is open to all Southeastern affiliates and the surrounding community who are 18 and older. Early registration is $25 through Oct. 1. Participants will run/jog/walk the 3.2 mile route that has been mapped out through Wake Forest, beginning and ending on SEBTS campus. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. This year, all sponsorship proceeds will go to support Haitian orphans through Haiti Love and the efforts of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) to advance diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide.
