It is that time of year again: Festivals Acadiens & Creoles starts today in Lafayette, LA and it looks like the weather will be perfect!

So head on down to Girard Park tonight. Music starts at 5:15 with Geno Delafosse and Christine Balfa, followed by Hert LeBlanc with Bruce Daigrepont and closing with Joel Sonnier with Michael Doucet.

Chantal, that looks like it will be a blast! I wish I lived closer! We have a blues festival and folk festival here during the summer and each one will bring in a zydeco or cajun band every couple years. Always a crowd pleaser and dance floor packer!
