HOW HOT IS YOUR MARKET AREA RIGHT NOW?

Are you hoping for a sudden surge, like yesterday?  What do you think it will take to make Consumer Confidence take a flying LEAP?  YES, That's my question that I've been asking myself lately? Anybody else?

Tell me...Let's share what is happening in our marketplaces.  Afterall, ACTIVE RAIN is the place to do it, and hear it from the most competent opinions out there....the one's who are committed, and making it happen.

In Rancho Cucamonga, the market has been a bit more stagnant.  I've noticed the price point of $320,000, which was the most active price range earlier this year, come to a screaching halt!  Now, the new active price point is $250,000 - $275,000.  So a drop of about 15-20%.  Yes, That is ALOT!

In Palm Springs, the market has been more stagnant in the $350,000 price range.  Actually, there are not alot of good choices in the up to $350,000 price range.  The drop in inventory may lead to a little bit of an increase.  Although local numbers indicated a small percentile drop in pricing, the shortage could cause this drop to buckle "UP"..which we would all love!

Our high-end markets have stalled a bit but the median keeps rising and buyers are still stepping in with multiple offers for everything from $500K to 1.5M (depending on the area).  I've got a lot of active high-end buyers but they're being very choosy.  Stuff is selling but it' taking a little more work than 3-4 months ago.

Hi Todd,  WOW...couldn't believe the figures for Rancho Cucamonga...Here in North Orange County its running 3 to 5%  down.

We do have an active market...but, things just aren't moving the way they were.
