Great post Dan. Sounds like a fun event for a good cause, and it's helpful that you detailed the lane closures.

Dan,

These days I would have to be a spectator as I do not run any more after hipo replacement surgery. I wish I could have had an oppoortunity years back to run among the Redwoods. You gave everyone the road closures and that is all good information for the all the folks who will not attend. Thanks for a very informative blog.

Dan,

I love to run that sounds like a beautiful place to run. Poor Bob he had a hippo replacement. I have a picture in my head of cool weather and shade and beautiful redwood trees sounds like a winner to me.

Good Afernoon Dan:

Another great localism post.  Hope it will attract some famous marathoners, that's how it generates money for the community.  I run on a regular basis...but no marathoner.
