Everybody know this, it’s just a fact of nature that the higher elevations get more snow – that’s why the ski slopes are already open and that’s why my new listing in the Crystal Lakes Subdivision in Red Feather Lakes, CO  was covered in a blanket of snow last week.

 

 

This land is mostly level and has some very cool rock outcroppings that lend an additional sense of privacy from “the rest of the world”.  It also has a great circle driveway for coming and going in your RV, although it’s impossible to photograph that when it’s covered in white!

 

The red reflector on the tree and the snow reminded me of Christmastime. This land would make a great Christmas present.  I know, it’s not a gift you can easily wrap and put under your tree, but last week it was already wrapped in glistening white under many trees- all it needed was a bow!

We have been in denial here in Sacramento.  80's yesterday.... but I know sneaky old man winter is right around the corner.  Our cool weather usually swoops in by end of October.  Darn.... this was one summer I wanted to last.

Mary, It just seems so odd to see snow already. We just had a little cold snap here, dropped down to the 60's in the mornings.  The weather is absolutely beautiful!

Thanks Jeffrey, oh come on, you will miss the Colorado snow sometime during the winter :-)  I haven't missed it all this summer, either though!

Mary:  Hmmm... the higher you go, the more you'll find snow.  How true.  Unfortunately, that also works with the hair on top of my hair.  Time to get those snow-white roots done again.

Mary... speaking of "Snow White"... I watched a new series Sunday night called Once Upon A Time... and Snow White was a character in it, I believe.  It stars Ginnifer Goodwin from the Julia Roberts movie Mona Lisa Smile, and Jennifer Morrison (from the show Dr House... she was one of his cute co-doctors that he leered at every week.)

Excellent show.  Sunday, ABC at 7:00pm Central.
