Motivational Power Quote

Listen to Hear

Hear much, speak little.”

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Listen to hear

The first rule of successful communications is to listen to hear.

Listen to what the other person has to say, to understand their wants, needs, desirers and motivation. Listening shows interest in the person that you’re speaking with and is a sign of respect

The first rule of successful communications is to listen . . . . to listen  to hear and to listen with empathy. Effective communications is listening with interest 80% of the time and to speak with a purpose 20% of the time.

Ask questions of the person to gain deeper insight to who they really are as a person.  In listening we better understand how we can assist them and how we can be of value and of service to them.

Encourage the person to speak and proactively listen to them to fully engage them in a conversation.

The first rule of successful communications is to listen to hear. As you do you will have mastered the first rule of communications.

Learning to listen may be life's most difficult challenge. Learning to listen and asking the right questions to keep the other person talking maybe harder! Enjoy your day!
