I passed the PSI exam and got my license last week. It is a relief to have passed this milestone.
I'm glad I took the class, even though I hadn't studied like that in a long time. The instructor kept the class lively and I didn't fall asleep once :-) It was a lot information to absorb and I felt as if my brain was packed as tight as a brick with real estate information when it was all said and done.
I learned many things I didn't know. The fair housing info was enlightening, with all the testers that they have out to make sure you are not violating any rules. Now I know why my client is so nitpicky about this subject.
Among other things, I learned that I need to take action concerning my neighbors encroaching on my property. It is nearing the 20 year mark, so I need to get that taken care of right away.
One of my best friends & clients is a Realtor and I didn't even let her know I was taking the class. She was so surprised. I never really let on that I was becoming more and more interested in the work I was assisting her with.
I'm going to get affiliated Thursday. I can't wait :-) And then it's more classes. I want to get those continuing ed classes out of the way.
All in all, it was a good experience and it was good for my children to see Mom study. Now they have no excuse :-)
