FHA Refi's - Be sure your loan officer knows this before you refinance!

By

Interesting point brought up by Think Big Work Small with FHA refi penalties. Be sure you know this or your loan officer knows this so the seller can save considerable $$$ on their refi with these current great interest rates.

I was not aware of this, what about you?

I have communicated with my state Representatives and Senators. Most understand the problem. The FHA mortgage should be the same as the original mortgage, Unfair to these folks!

These guys have come a looooong way. Great information. An MI TAX that doesn't make sense. Who is in control of this country and why the hell do we allow things like this to happen again??

Greg: Thanks for stopping. Doesn't seem right that you should get screwed on a refi with FHA. Trying to fill those coffers of FNMA & Freddie I imagine.

Right Trac:  Definately, glad you are aware.

Gary: Sorry, don't know but it works fine in IE9.

Kristine: LOL, yes they get in all they can usually in their 5 minute limit.

David:  Shouldn't penalize people because the rules changed & they are not in default which started the whole problem anyway.

Carla:  If it sounds stupid, looks stupid, why it's our government at work.  Just be sure that it is the original purchase date & I guess it will be OK.

Joe, Just doesn't seem right does it? Spread the word so people don't get penalized on a refi.
