You only have six to seven months left until the spring selling season starts again. It seems no better time than the present to get those seeds planted in hopes of things “coming up listings” in your real estate farm.
People begin making plans with the new year and that time is approaching quickly. If plans to start a farm or to continue to farm keep getting put on the back burner...best get it moved to the front burner as quick as possible. Your time is running out for this coming spring when homes start selling again. It takes time (some say from 12-18 months) to establish yourself.
If you wish to LIST the “low hanging fruit” in the neighborhood your considering or have been farming, now is the time to get going. Any listings you can pick up over the next several months will have a great impact and support any farming you do. The only way to get to the low hanging fruit is to be present and be available when the opportunities presents themselves.
There is no presence, recollection or top of mind awareness when there is no keeping in touch, no marketing and no real estate farming. If you want to grow your business, keep in touch with people and remember that...these days, there is NO COMPETITION at the mailbox, which makes real estate marketing postcards that much more effective. All your competition is typically in the “inbox” and most people ignore what they get there, it's so over saturated.
Get back to the basics, get back to what people have proven works over and over and get your farming started as soon as possible. It works!
