Gullwing Beach Resort Ft Myers BeachThe Fort Myers Beach Annual Sandsculpting Championship Championship Festival is coming soon!  Mark your calendars for November 2 -6, 2011 and join the fun when the popular, family friendly event marks its 25th year on Estero Island.

The Gullwing Beach Resort is the place, located at 6620 Estero Blvd at the southern end of the island, and over 50,000 attendees are anticipated to attend this five day event.

What will attendees be able to see and experience? There will be sixteen of the world’s best Master Sculptors along with Amateur Sculptors, and they will all use the beautiful, white sandy beaches to create their magnificent, one-of-a-kind works of art.

Individual and group competitions among the master sculptors and amateurs will be featured. Sandsculpting 101 will also be offered to those who envision themselves as sand sculptors ‘in the rough’. Vendors will be available to provide tasty treats...it’s hard work watching all that sand sculpting taking place!

If you are coming in for this event and want close accommodations, head over to the Fort Myers Beach Holiday Inn, where you’ll be able to easily access the Sand Sculpting Festival.

If you prefer to take the trolley to visit the festival, you can hop on from the south at Lovers Key State Park, or from the north at Summerlin Square Plaza.  Learn more about sandsculpting festival transportation made easy!

There is only one thing better than visiting Fort Myers Beach and activities such as the Annual Sandsculpting Festival....living in Fort Myers Beach!

Hey Candi, can you take some pictures at the contest and do a blog on the interesting ones?  Sounds like fun.
