An Unusual Statue!
This "Pirate" is obviously near the sea - but which sea and where? I like the unusual style of this swashbuckling statue and have never seen them anywhere else.

David - Oh goodie - another statue! Ok, this time I'm going to guess that this peg-legged fellow is located in Nova Scotia - Halifax, perhaps? Uh, that would be the Atlantic Ocean!

I've added a second statue too ... it's just a few hundred yards from the Pirate...
So, I guess I have to let you know where it is ...
it's Sidney, British Columbia, and the sea is now called The Salish Sea (formerly the Strait of Juan de Fuca)
