I was all caught up by noon today, so I went up to the cabin and did some fall work.
Leaves were pilling up and the more I get done in the fall, the less I have to do when I want to fish.
The birds and small animals were flittering around eating and working at their winter food supply.
This site alone was worth the couple of hours of work. It cleared my mind and I am refreshed and ready to hit it hard tomorrow!

We have the possibility of frost tonight. That's pretty early for us. I might have to think about turning the furnace on.
YOu must have read my post about fall in New England. This is truly a wonderful time of year.
William - looks like winter is all ready and will soon conquer a lot of areas of the country. We felt the first cool air yesterday and temperatures dipped into the 60s at night, and it was unusually nippy all day

We're suppose to have our first frost tonight. In the middle of redoing our landscaping, we're hoping to have warmer weather this weekend so we can finish up.
Fall is so refreshing - cool and crisp, and the air smells so clean! I'm glad you got to spend some time enjoying the outdoors today!
We had our furnace on today...raining and chilly. Now that the leaves are gone (for now) you can go fishing :)
Bill, It has been a great fall. Us farmers have been able to get our crops in from the field and are doing well for a change.
Getting out and away is a great way to clear the mind and be more efficient
I felt much better after getting away for a few hours. ned to do that more often
