This weekend Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia
celebrates Homecoming with several long-standing traditions.

The Homecoming Parade kicks off at 9:30 and runs along Historic Elden Street, ending in front of the Government Center. Come out and enjoy the class floats, the football team, the Homecoming Princesses, the Herndon Middle School Marching Band, The Herndon High Marching Band, the Cheerleaders, the Dance Team, and the many, many community groups who will be marching.
At 1:00 p.m. the Herndon High Varsity Football Team will take on Robinson Secondary. Come out and cheer the Hornets on to a victory!
Saturday evening is the annual Homecoming Dance for the students of Herndon High. Restaurants around the area will be crowded with boys and girls in their dressed-up finest enjoying dinner out before the dance. If you aren't one of the students, you might be better off calling ahead for take-out!

The Class of 1981 will be celebrating our reunion this weekend, too. If you are a class member, we will meet near the caboose in downtown Herndon and then watch the parade and meet near the snack stand at the game.
