Glad to hear also that you are not going alone. I would LOVE a place like that. My wife would love to get me off the grid and cranking up the generator once or twice a day to check emails and such would keep me sane. You could also just use Google Earth and Google Maps to check out the route first
I would never find it! The directions are too long and too complicated. I would have to take someone with me to keep track of which Y to take and which direction to turn. Funny story!
This is pretty funny and I too am relieved that you aren't going it alone. Please make sure you have extra batteries for your camera, it would not do to have to go back for more pictures. Take video all the way down. It would be awesome! Good luck!
Hey Janna -
Holy cow now I'm totally lost! LOL.... I'm glad you're not heading out alone and look forward to hearing the outcome of your big adventure! Best of luck and best regards from the Q
Gotta love those down to earth boonie types. Make sure you take an extra spare and a chain saw.
Now...the trick is finding someone who is buyer who may have the same....uh....mentality
Janna, what a great way to spend an afternoon driving around this area! I had to show up in the mountains a couple weeks ago, and stopped to take photos of the wildlife as well! Good luck on your listing!
I remember working in a rural area many years ago and ending up in tears on more than one occassion. I was always late which just made it worse when I missed turning at the 3rd tobacco barn or some such thing. Please let us know, Jana, that you arrived safely back in civilization.
I hope you post some great pictures of this place. I am now curious to see it.
Janna, oh boy, I can hardly wait to see THIS one... and I understand exactly why you took it!!!!
Hi Janna,
So glad to read near the bottom...you're not going alone!
