A Halloween tradition.

Our family has had a tradition of watching the movie "Young Frankenstein" on Halloween night ever since the movie first came out in 1974.

This is a Mel Brooks movie that stars Gene Wilder.  Check out some of this supporting cast: Terri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle (as Frankenstein), Madeline Kahn, and a great scene with Gene Hackman.

This is an absolute fabulous parody on Kenneth Strickfadens's 1931 film "Frankenstein".

One of things about this movie that might throw some potential fans, is that it was filmed in black-and-white.  But this was in the 1970's!

Just one of Mel Brooks' ways of making his film totally unique.

I wanted to pass this on to those of you seeking comic relief.

Larry, Great tradition...I believe I've seen the movie many times but it has been many years ago and I believe it was quite funny!

The old movies are fun, I love to watch the 1960's scrooge at Christmas Time, it was one of the classics.  Enjoy your Halloween.

My 5 year old daughter was named after Madeline Kahn.  She was so good in so many movies!
