This is a Mel Brooks movie that stars Gene Wilder. Check out some of this supporting cast: Terri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle (as Frankenstein), Madeline Kahn, and a great scene with Gene Hackman.
This is an absolute fabulous parody on Kenneth Strickfadens's 1931 film "Frankenstein".
One of things about this movie that might throw some potential fans, is that it was filmed in black-and-white. But this was in the 1970's!
Just one of Mel Brooks' ways of making his film totally unique.
I wanted to pass this on to those of you seeking comic relief.
