It started like this...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

My neighbor called and asked if I had a big chain saw.

"Yea, you know I do, why?" I asked him.

"Just come on over and bring it with!"

Well, I knew there would be some home made wine involved, so I went over.   He had trimmed the tree as much as he could with is little saw.  The base was just over 48 inches at the smallest spot.

Less than 2 hours later...

The log looked like this!

He wanted to pay me, but what are neighbors for if we can't help each other out.

But, I did go home with 4 bottle's of great home made wine!

That looks like a lot of work! Now your chainsaw skills will probably get out and more neighbors will call.

I'm glad you took the wine home...big chain saws and 4 bottles of homemade wine sounds like a disaster waiting to happen!  I'd love to have a neighbor like you!

Bill, you are such a great example of what neighbors should be.

First off, I would never forgive myself if sommeone needed help like this, I said NO and then that person got hurt trying to do something that they were unable to.

Second, I hope I get half the help back when I get older that I have given.

but if you don't help first, you have no reason to complain when you need help and NO ONE shows up!!!!

Bill, first off your work ethic is to be commendable.

Second, I agree with Randi...You are a modle that we should all think about copying.

Tjhank you for being an inspiration.

I am cutting down a little tree in my backyard and was going to make a video about how to use a chain saw. Now I think I am to embarrassed...you better make the video. I have never tackled a tree like this.
