Last night, as I was searching for the right charger cord for some appliance, I came across this cord, and I'll be darned if I know what it's for.
I know it's been here for a while, because for the past couple of years I've been labeling all these miscellaneous cords.
One end is a USB plug-in. The other end looks like the cord that connects my satellite internet to the computer or the modem. It's larger than a telephone plug.
So... anyone know this cord's use? 
Throw it away and you'll remember the moment the garbage truck pulls away, LOL

It looks like the cord that connects your computer directly to the internet plug in the wall. If you have wireless, you really don't need it.
Lottie - We don't have high speed internet here... only my satellite connection. But I can't remember any time that the satellite connected to the USB. Is that possible?
Susan - That's exactly why I have these little boxes of cords in my storage room - I'm afraid to toss anything!
Rose - So maybe it came with a computer, for use where high speed is available?
Charles, I wonder if I'd kill something if I tried it direct from the satellite modem? Maybe it would solve my crazy problem of not being able to look at my own websites.
I have a box of those cords. I know they are most likely outdated but as soon as I throw them out I'll find that I needed it after all. I guess I'll get a bigger box.
Maureen - Yes, that's what I should do too. Right now I have to dig around in 3 or 4 little boxes.
