I could not believe all the attention you get when you walk into B of A now a days. The greeters greet with enthusiasm, the floaters who walk around bid you greetings non-stop and the teller will give you salutations, greetings, well wishes and all the manners and courtesies. The problem is that it is all a compensatory behavior...An Psychological axiom at work.

THE BACK END IS SOYLENT GREEN

The damages done on the back end are so devastating that it compels a campaign to offset it less this company visits the Titanic way before its time. They haven't stopped their campaign of foreclosing in the middle of negotiations, of turning down loan mods, refusal to reduce principals, harassing military personnel or cooperating fully with short sales. No, this is going full speed and some of it remains in the stealth mode

DISINGENUOUS DEFINED: calculating and deceptive

To offset or distract us from all that, they have started a long lost relative campaign. You walk in their branch and you are wanted, loved and appreciated which after a while makes one not wanting these things. It is embarrassing for employees to put forth such dishonest efforts and equally embarrassing to receive them.

IT'S YOU...IT'S REALLY YOU...MY DAY IS COMPLETE NOW

I do not put on a Broadway show when meeting with my customers, family, neighbors, friends or even my wife. Being honest, forthright and most importantly, BEING MYSELF is sufficient at all times. If I did anything outside of that, people who know me would wonder what is wrong?

THE TRAINER, THE TRAINEE, AND... ME

The teller was a trainee and the trainer was watching every move. I liked the trainee despite his artificial worship of seeing me. I knew he was trying to keep his job. The trainer went for the kill. Mr. Naggar, why don't you open an account with us? No thank you sez I. But what are your reasons she pushed demonstrating to her trainee not to take a NO for an answer.

I ANSWER RELUCTANTLY

I bank with two other places. Why don't you bank here she went on sensing she had me. I knew she would not go away. I paused, looked at them both and said...Mam...If you do a Google search on Bank of America complaints, you will find enough to read for weeks all of it not good. Now, I turn around and everyone in line is listening and watching me.

SHE SEZ...I SEZ

She says...you should give us try. We are not in the foreclosure department, but a different one. I said..mam, just Google your self and go from there.

RE-VISIT YOUR BUSINESS MODEL FOR STARTERS

All Bank of America has to do is change their business model to correspond more with the needs and actions of the economy on the population at large and on the foreclosed product. Their current strategies are not effective. In working through solutions, they should include generously the very people of whom they rely on for business now and in the future. People who defaulted today, will be back some day

RESULTS DON'T LIE

When you treat people fair, just, right and honest, you get back the rewards from doing so in more ways than one. Trying to make that happen artificially brings phony results...the point of my post

I am a customer of Bank of America and I am so annoyed by the non stop greetings.  I don't go inside anymore.  I do drive up banking.

Delores...thank you for confirming my experience....Even 5 star restaurants and hotels who want your business and a chance to earn it don't perform on these levels.....good for you on the drive-thru BTW...best Delores
