This works better if you happen to have an image that you use in many posts. In this example, its the image of the main Crofton gate. That image tends to resurface for me frequently. The image has to reside on the web. In this case you can see from the html that it’s on my www.RichSellsHomes.com website, which happens to be a wordpress site.
Using HTML in the post, pointed to the image above, which resides on the web, it will display. The image is displayed as a result of a query, and not embedded into the post itself.
The html to do this is:
<center><a href="http://www.richsellshomes.com" target="_self"><img src="http://richsellshomes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/crofton-450-picnik.jpg" alt="Crofton MD Main Entrance"></a></center>
Of course, your image is going to be found on your site, not RichSellsHomes.com. You can certainly copy the HTML above and try it from your iPad in a post, and I'm sure it will work. What the heck, while you're at it write a Crofton, MD post for me ;-)
I told you you weren't going to like it...especially Cheryl. Elegant, NO, but it will work for some instances when you have to place an image from an iPad. Maybe some day, the Active Rain editor will allow us to place images directly that reside in the iPad. After all...Christmas is coming.
