Absorption rate is the time it will take existing listings to sell based on prior sales over the past 10 months.  6 months is a balanced market.  Anything over that indicates a buyers’ market and under, a sellers’ market.

 

So, apart from the under $1 million to $2 million single family homes and under $1 million condos, Beverly Hills real estate  is still very much a buyers’ market.

Amazing Grace  Jane!  Those homes in the 1-2 million price range are snapped up very quickly!!!  With only about a THREE month supply of homes in that price range I can see how fence sitters will be out of luck.

Hi Jane, love learning about other markets. I was surprised to see more homes sold in the $1m+ price point. But then again, your market has a lot of those homes in those price ranges. Here in my market, we have only one town that has $1M+ but not a lot.
