Wordless Wednesday - Tilting At Windmills
Literally! I just tilted my camera at these windmills in Goldendale, Washington and came up with an awesome shot into the clouds. These massive structures line ridge after ridge in this region where wind power is the new norm. I took this photo Sunday... I also love the clouds and how fluffy they look with the sun filtering through.
Very nice cloud shot and the windmills look like large giant machines. Oh I guess they are.
My grandfather is from Goldendale and a few years ago when we went back we saw these massive things and were just amazed at how big they really are.
Very cool picture. You are right. They are becoming the norm. I took some pics while in kansas last year of a whirlybird farm. And I thought they only farmed milo and sunflowers.....
Great photo. There is something majestic about these wind turbines. On Maui, we have a whole line of them up the west Maui mountains and I am always fascinated watching them.
