The Huffington Post beat me to it. My 22-year old and I were just discussing the BEST HALLOWEEN candy and I only now realize that his father was the one sneaking the Almond Joys and Reeses’s peanut butter cups out of his bag.
I do hear mixed reviews on the ubiquitous "candy corn," probably THE nastiest as far as refined sugar goes. I have too admit never having tasted a pumpkin mallomar, but you wouldn't have to strap me down to get me to try it,
Seriously, it would pay you to ask around in your neighborhood what the kids want and like if you want to avoid such ghoulish tricks and toilet papering your house.
If you check in at HP their poll is showing Reese's cups as #1, followed closely by Snickers.
