OH Buddy!! I can relate to this one. If only I had a dollar when people used this one on me. Once someone talks to you in this manner and I’m sure they have you’ll know it. This kind of behavior has been known to bring about a violent result. So the meaning of (kan’tyoo mele) is haughty and contemptuous rudeness; insulting and humiliating treatment or language. Bet ya you have experienced this especially in the business. So tell me your story via AR. I promise I won’t tell anyone… J.

Hello James,

I have done a couple of posts about just this topic.

When some Realtors get this way, all I can think of is when they were going to Realtor school, they must have missed the "bedside mannors day". And sellers If they don't like the report. WOW talk about getting very "contumely".

Amazingly, my experience with people being contumely has been in residential real estate and not when in the commercial arena.

I have experienced this with an agent this year. It definiately does not help in any manner and turns out bad all around. The best medicine is to politely say good by and discuss it again at another day!
