Services for Real Estate Pros with 1-800-Got-Junk?

I just read a blog by Nancy Pav, a realtor in VA.  She definitely hit the nail on the head.  The blog talks about full size candy bars, and how she still remembers the families that gave them out every year for Halloween.  She then relates that to professional life.  I want to elaborate on the subject, but definitely check out her blog at http://activerain.com/blogsview/257476/FULL-SIZED-CANDY-BARS

As professionals, what are our full size candy bars?  I know at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? we constantly talk about "wowing" our customers.  We want people to walk away from their experience thoroughly in shock that they just received that great of service from "junk" guys.  I think we do a really good job of doing that, but we could always improve. 

At our meeting with all of the guys tomorrow morning, I'm going to bring up "full candy bar service".  What makes customers come back to our service?  How can we strive to be like the families who go above and beyond expectations year in and year out?  How can we create that kind of "repeat business?"  Great questions to ask yourself and/or employees.  Thanks for great blog Nancy.

I view the "full candy bar service" as being the best. Not providing service but "enhanced services." That's the full size in my mind. You want to delight customers and be a resource to them that they just can't do without.

I definitely agree Gary.  Going above and beyond normal service and anticipating your customer's needs is definitely part of the full size candy bar recipe.

I believe offering old fashion servicelike people are use to would be the equivalent to the full size candybar.

This is by far your best blog ever, I love the idea... Its all about the "WOW" Gary nailed this one to the T. Its all about going above and beyond, like asking if the customer it they would like a starbucks. Keep up all the good work.

Great topic.  Every day we need to get our employees to make our clients feel like we just gave them a full sized candy bar....a great way to help explain the feeling we are trying to convey.
