Trick or Treat?

By

Ok, so I'm shameless! I had a bunch of leftover Jaguar Schedules that I got from someone that have a business card attached. I made up little packets of candy and threw one of those in each bag to give out for Halloween! Shameless, I know, but I'm interested to see the result of it.

I wish that I had something more kid friendly to throw in there...like a coloring book attached to it, but I just wanted to get rid of the last of the football magnets since we're already seven games through the season.

I've even still got some leftover magnet candy bags and I thought that I may just go tomorrow and give them to strangers I meet along my path...perhaps older people who don't go trick or treating or younger college age folks who don't go trick or treating.

Any ideas?

Hey Christy,

I gave out with the candy one of those Refrigerator Calendar magnets with our business card attached to each kid tonight. Who know ...... might get a deal out of it.

PS: My wife was soooo embarrassed that I was handing out these 2008 calendars to the kids.

As a kid, I would hate to receive that sort of crap.  As and adult, it'd be very cool to see who is giving and dong what.  Thanks for the post.

My hubby gave out his business cards one Halloween along with the candy. We got prank phone calls for weeks......coincidence???

He thought it as funny but he didn't get all the calls.

My colleagues and I went door knocking on Halloween night, but unfortunately we didn't have any treats. (It was a last minute decision). But one of my colleagues came up with the idea of introducing herself with "Trick or Treat, I'm dressed as a Realtor today!" It served to break the ice and lighten things up a bit. We knocked for 1 hour and got 3 leads!
