Steamboat Springs, CO is experiencing a huge real estate boom with over 25 developments (BIG projects) in various stages of completion. Trailhead Lodge will be one of the first new projects completed on the mountain. It will be connected to the ski mountain by a new gondola which will transport guests from Trailhead Lodge (see the photo where the foundation is being constructed) to One Steamboat Place.
The architect's model of the building is very attractive--it has four stories of varying heights, and the pool area has several pools (maybe four or five?) including a kids pool and adult-only pool. There are several fire pits and different socializing areas.
It's part of the larger Wildhorse Meadows development that will include single family homes, townhouses, a little store and a post office. Wildhorse Meadows is located where the hot air balloon rodeo used to be located between the Meadows parking lot (at the top) and the Steamboat Grand (not shown).
