Halloween is on Monday October 31st. Before sending your kids out on Halloween please see this checklist.
1. If their costume is too long they may trip over it. Please check its length well in advance so you have time to hem it.
2. Make sure the costume or mask has openings for the eyes so they can see clearly.
3. Have glow in the dark reflectors on the costime as it is dark and when someone is driving they may not see the kids if it is too dark.
4. Give the kids a flashlight and instruct them to be careful when they cross the street in the subdivision . Tell them to stay in the neighborhood and not to cross major roads.
5. Give them a bag for the treats that they can comfortably carry and if you are going with them you should have a bigger bag so you can put some of the candy in it when their bag gets heavy.
6. Tell kids not to eat any candy till they get home and you have inspected it.
7. If you are not going with them, let them go with a group of kids . Do not let them go out alone.
All parents know the above but when you just come home from work and have to get the kids ready it is possible to forget some things.
Have a safe Halloween.:
