Never heard from Cindy again. Since I was leery of the whole situation, I haven't tried contacting her any more either.
My assistant went by the one property again, and says it looks totally cleaned out and abandoned. It's received a Notice of Default. I guess it'll just sit vacant until the bank takes it back. I never bothered to go by the other address she'd given me.
