Eco-the friendly witch loves to travel on her broom - it’s fun, quiet and fuel free. When Eco eco the friendly witchhas to use a more conventional form of transportation, she organizes all of her errands in one trip.

Eco-the friendly witch won't use frogs or bird beaks in her recipes for potions and brews. She knows the important role all creatures provide in the delicate balance of our ecosystems and honors their value.

Eco-the friendly witch heats up her big black cauldron with eco-briquettes or lump charcoal. It may not seem like much, but small steps (taken by many) can help with the much larger issue of air pollution.

Eco-the friendly witch
turns out lights in her vacant rooms and uses a programmable eco the friendly witchthermostat to help conserve energy and save money.  Of course she lives in a house. Where did you think witches lived?

Eco-the friendly witch diverts rain water to barrels and uses it to water her gardens and indoor plants. She never lets water needlessly run down the drain - the average witch American wastes up to 30 gallons of water a day.

Eco-the friendly witch is sensitive to stereo-types. She knows the misconceptions people have about witches. She also knows there are misconceptions about living green - it’s not difficult, weird or trendy.

Eco-the friendly witch shares her knowledge with other people. She wants them to discover the joy of living in harmony with nature. It’s pretty easy to do, plus it’s healthy and saves money.

Eco-the friendly witch knows some choices we make can have an unintended and long term negative impact on the planet. With each small, quiet and better choice, we can change the quality of our lives and the health of our planet.

Eco-the friendly witch
hopes you won’t be frightened if you spot her on her out and about on her broom this month - October’s a big deal in her world. Instead she hopes you’ll see her as representation of something quite positive and natural.

Great article. Thanks for reposting. One if the biggest eco choices we make is what we choose to buy. We vote with our dollars to have more of something or less of something. Will we vote for lots of junk packaging or socially irresponsible business practices to save a few pennies? Or will we reward companies who are doing good with our purchases?

As an eco-witch, let me just say one more thing.  QUIT  USING  PLASTIC  GROCERY  BAGS!  They are ruining the environment in every conceivable way.  Grab your tote bags and help save our planet.  Or there might just be a spell cast on you.
