White orchids for a snowy day in Maryland

We are having winter weather in Maryland today and heavy snow is predicted.  This is not what we had planned for this fall weekend.  Dolores and I had to cancel our weekend trip to West Chester, PA and our planned visit to Longwood Gardens to see the The Chrysanthemum Festival display and the featured weekend event, The National Chrysanthemum Society 68th Show.

Have a great weekend and be sure to have your camera in hand for those special moments which might include snow scenes in some areas of the northeast.

Snow so early Roy!  Your weather has been quite unusual lately.  I don't think that Orchids even like to hear the word, snow.  Stay safe?

Roy,  Did we send you the snow.  It is blue skies and sunny here today.  Your orchids are simply amazing!  Stay in and stay warm and post some pictures of the snow.

Sorry Roy,  I am watching the weather channel and see that our snow is hitting you today.  We are in for snow again on Wednesday next week again.  Hope you keep power, will still have people out in the northern part of Colo.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Yes, we are not accustomed to snow in October in Maryland.  I hate to think that the snow will knock down our beautiful fall leaves.

Have an outstanding weekend and a Happy Halloween!

Roy, you were wise to cancel. I was out showing homes this morning and just arrived home safely. However, I was so glad to get home. It is too early to have snow! But so be it.

Roy, we did get snow this morning, with the ground covered it was very pretty. But, the sun came out and poof... the snow was gone. I like it that way :)
