MY MOUTH IS WATERING.

I just ran across this blog by "The Flooring Girl", about a local merchant in Westchester, NY, who makes custom chocolates.

My mouth is watering.  This site may be helpful for some Christmas presents.

If you're going to blow 50 or 100 calories, make it chocolate and sometimes a Dove bar just doesn't do the job.

Have you tried Heidi & Arthur's Chocolates?

Heidi & Arthur chocolatiersMy dear friend, Heidi Caren is the co-founder and owner of Heidi & Arthur's chocolate along with her dad, Arthur.  They are two of the sweetest people you will meet, but not nearly as sweet as their decadent chocolate.  It's to die for.

The taste is scrumptious and the fancy designs are exquisitely beautiful.  In fact, they are so beautiful, you treasure them and savor them and you don't want to eat them...but you have to because you can't resist.

Heidi and Arthur chocolates are handmade and with natural ingredients. Yes, there are still some places that make chocolate this way - isn't that great!  They take pride in their chocolate and it shows - in the design and the taste.

Heidi and Arthur dark chocolateThey offer chocolate for everyday use, for holiday gifts, client gifts, corporate events, weddings.  They can even customize with your names and logos.

She has all sorts of holiday items - whether it's Christmas, Hanukah, Easter, Passover, Mother's Day you name it...or what's the big chocolate holiday? Oh, yeah Valentine's Day.

I love supporting other women owned businesses, and I'm so happy that Heidi's business is really taking off.  She recently started producing for Whole Foods, and it's been such a success that they are now expanding to the the North East market.  Sweet!

Heidi & Arthur corporate giftsHeidi lives in Westchester and her factory is in Rockland.  You can buy direct from her, buy on her website - yes, they do deliver, or in many Whole Foods stores.

Oh, and these make great thank you gifts for your clients.  Check out her website and see what Decadence Delivered looks like.  (the music is great, too....imagine if the smells could be transferred over the internet???)

WOW Lenn, You sure know how to re-blog the best. I have written Heidi and Aurthur's  site down and will look into it for some great chocolates at holiday time ( fast approaching). I can't wait to try them, though I do have a lot of self control because mostly I only like the dark varieties. I can see from the photos that Debbie added, Dark Chocolate varieties look in ample supply.

William.  I will too.  I like the dark variety too.  Don't junk my chocolate up with lots of sugar, milk, etc.  I do love a bit of raspberry essence or hazelnut enhancement, but a simple bite of chocolate is my soul food.  That said, I have learned to avoid having good chocolate in my home.  I don't have that much self control.

No, I don't overindulge either because I plan to keep this gorgous body for years to come.

Brenda.  Isn't it amazing that the mere mention of the word chocolate can cause an instant reaction.

Now, I know I'll probably have to stop at Trader Joe's on my way to the range tomorrow to get a lovely morsal.

Mmmm.  Come to think of it, the last time I ate a small chocolate bar before shooing, I did very well.  I think I'll try it again.

Thx so much Lenn for reblogging.  I love Heidi & Arthur's chocolates.  She presented again to our BNI group on Thursday and I was lucky enough to win the door prize.  All those chocolates are gone!

Oh, and thanks for the mention of The Flooring Girl.

Wonderful reblog.

Heidi and Arthur know how to take this chocolate delicacy and make it a must have item. Their marketing is perfect. Dark chocolate for me, please.

Margaret

Hi Lenn.    I recently found that if I have a client that is having a bad day, bringing them a small piece of chocolate goes a longgggg way!    :)

Hi Lenn, I'm going to  a Tweet-up in a place called "Chocolations" next week.  MY guess is that my diet is blown for that day.  There is nothing like dark chocolate.

I agree, chocolate is the way to go!  Brain food, purely.

But, on the other hand, I have never had a Dove Bar not do the trick!  Remember when they used to be really big?

Jay.  I'm so glad they are smaller.  Whatever the size, I will eat the entire thing. . . NOW!.

Ruthmarie.  Agreed, but the subliminal "tweeting chocolate" doesn't work for me.

Lou.  Good habit.

Kathy.  Oh my.  I haven't eaten Pizza for 5 years, since I decided to lower cholestrol.  Love Pizza but love chocolate more.

Al and Cal.  That is very, very wise.

Margaret.  Interesting.  Dark chocolate seems to rule with the AR crowd.  Who's eating the milk chocolate??  The kids of course.

Debbie.  Good for you.  I'm sure those treats are not going to last long.
