No children come around trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, but that doesn't stop my 83 year old neighbor from getting into the spirit of things.
Every year he buys a whole case of miniature Snickers bars with almonds - and brings me a bag or two.
Then he gets out his stash of plastic pumpkins and hangs them from the trees around his house.

What a great example of a genuine holiday spirit! How long does it take to eat a case of snickers with almonds? That is spreading the joy of the season over a longer time...
Marge - I don't know how long that case of candy lasts them. He buys it because this is the only time of year he can find that particular candy bar in our neck of the woods. Our store here in Priest River doesn't sell them and apparently can't get them, so he special orders a case from the Safeway store over in the next town.
