The what's the average price per square foot is a question we get a lot. Of course I think agents who don't enter it properly in our area distort the average.

We get lots of questions as well Tammy, and we caution them about the finished square footage totals that some agents can distort. Basements are a major problem as what one agent may consider as finshed is truly not up to the standard of the upstairs. It does give people moving into the area a rough idea of what they can buy for their money here in the Lafayette area. People moving here from California, the East Coast, and Chicago like how much home they can get for their dollar!!!
