What with the weather getting cooler here in the Midwest, and downright frightful on the east coast, i thought I would wax poetic a bit about a favourite winter garment. (and thank you Tammy Langford Baker, for the inspiration).
Gloves, Gloves, Gloves
Gloves, Gloves, Gloves
There's something you can wear that's lots of fun.
There's warm fingers galore when you are done.
It can be difficult but if you wiggle you can get them all in place.
It's easy.
It's one thing you can wear that you can wave.
From frostbite your fingers can be saved.
You don't want them to be blue and brittle do you?
They'd freez-y
All you need are gloves. (wahhh... wahhh... wah.. wah.. wah...)
All you need are gloves. (wahhh... wahhh... wah.. wah.. wah...)
All you need are gloves, gloves.... gloves are all you need.
The fireplace has an orange glow.
Where did I put the match, I just don't know?
The duraflame log isn't where I left it before.
That's sleazy...
All I need are gloves. (wahhh... wahhh... wah.. wah.. wah...)
All I need are gloves. (wahhh... wahhh... wah.. wah.. wah...)
All I need are gloves, gloves.... gloves are all I need.
All you need are gloves, all you need are gloves,
All you need are gloves, gloves, gloves are all you need.
All you need are gloves (all together now)
All you need are gloves (everybody)
All you need are gloves, gloves, gloves are all you need.
ahh, that was glovely.
(isn't that the proctologist's national anthem?)
