After our "Surprise" snowfall on Saturday, the 29th of October , 8" in my backyard, I thought I would sneak out and get a few winter shots of our Pocono Creeks. Most of the sunshine that we received the day following the storm has already taken away most of the "winter" appearance of the streams, however, we all know that it will soon be cold enough that any view of "winter" on the streams will be there for months to come. So here's what I found today.
BEAVER BROOK. As you look upstream you can really see why they named it Beaver Brook. The brush in the creek sure looks like Beaver dams to me.
Rattlesnake Creek. I did not stick around long enough to find out why they named this one what they did (HaHa) even though I really do not need to worry about it at this time of year.
And then I found this Beautiful Creature munching away on my deck . . . .
Just a few Beautiful aspects of the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. So many wondrous sights to see, all it takes is the time.
Come and find out for yourself how awesome our surroundings are.
