Well that freak October snow storm was a doozy. We got about 20" of snow on trees that were still heavily leaved and the damage is significant. Some areas look like a war zone.
We got power back first at our Amherst NH real estate office. We had agents here drinking coffee, taking showers, chatting and just staying warm. We are hoping our Bedford NH real estate office regains power and cable today.
One of our Bedford NH Realtors said her granddaughter wanted to know why their fridgefrator and microphone didn't work. Too cute. There were lots of discussions about what our ancestors did. I sat and read for about 8 hours the first day, got out the coloring books and just couldn't take it any longer. Jumped in the car and took my IPAD to the local hotel, jumped on their wireless and then I could activate my cell application on the IPAD and I was back in business.
There are still hundreds of thousands of NH folks that are without power, I hope they find one big switch and throw it!
