She could make you feel better even without saying a word. No matter what time of the day or night she would always offer you something to eat.

She was the Rock of the family.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for everything you have done since I have been a member in the Rain.

It was very hard for me to write this post. In most cases people think I am a very reserved person when it comes to showing my emotions. I don't care for funerals at all. I don't care for the "Finality".

I do grieve in my own way. But this loss was really hard for me and my wife. 

I will be going on vacation to "get out of town" for a week or so.

If I am not in the Rain, Don't think I don't want to be here.

I have not been in the Rain like I usually am. I have not been singing in the Rain lately.

We have and are still busy with the funeral home. Now we just need to get this paid. She had an insureance policy.... but it was worth less as she got older. I bet a lot of folks don't know this. It started out as a $5,000.00 policy when she bought it back in 1985.

She paid $18.00 a month till she passed. Totalling over $5,600.00 in payments. But the older she got the less the policy was worth.

She would have been better off to just put the money in the bank.

If she would have made it to her 80th birthday just six months away, then the policy would have been worth a whopping $500.00. At least the payment on the policy was $1,000.00 Not much but everything helps.
